So my wife’s American-spec Ford Explorer just started making this awful squealing noise from the belt area and my own car, a German sedan, has been acting up too with some electrical gremlins that are driving me nuts. Someone at the mall parking lot told me about a decent spot they take their whole family’s cars to but I forgot to ask for the name. I’m basically looking for a proper multi-brand auto service workshop in Musaffah Abu Dhabi that deals with both American and European stuff because I’m tired of explaining to mechanics that yes, the Explorer has a timing chain not a belt, and no, you can’t just use generic diagnostic tools on the German one. Has anyone found a reliable spot that knows their way around different makes without making you feel like you’re speaking a different language when you describe the problem? Would really appreciate some pointers before I lose my mind with these cars.
