Nissan Patrol needs a new battery, considering an 80Ah Amaron
So my Patrol has been struggling to start on those hot afternoons lately, and I’ve had to jump it twice in the past week, so I know I need to replace the battery before I end up stranded somewhere. I’ve been doing some research and it looks like an 80Ah battery is the right size for my Patrol, and I keep hearing good things about Amaron batteries handling the extreme heat here better than some other brands. I came across a page that has some useful info on this, https://amaroncarbattery.ae/80ah-battery-replacement-dubai/, which seems to cover the options available for this size. I’m particularly interested in whether the EFB or AGM versions are worth the extra money for a car like mine that doesn’t have start-stop technology, or if the standard flooded battery does the job just fine. I’ve also heard that Amaron batteries come with Silver-Calcium technology that’s supposed to be really good for high-temperature environments, which sounds exactly like what I need . Has anyone here actually used an Amaron 80Ah battery in their Patrol or similar SUV and can tell me how long it lasted? Also, I’m curious about the warranty situation because I’ve seen some places offering 12 months while others offer 24 months, and I don’t want to get caught out with a battery that dies just after the warranty expires. Any advice from people who’ve been through this would be really helpful because I want to get this sorted before the summer heat really kicks in.
