Kays battery in Musaffah – worth it or not?
So my car battery finally gave up on me yesterday, right in the middle of picking up my kids from school which was super inconvenient. I’ve been looking around for a replacement that won’t cost me an arm and a leg because money’s a bit tight this month with all the back-to-school expenses. A friend of mine mentioned Kays batteries as a more budget-friendly option that still holds up decently in the heat, and I know there are a bunch of shops in Musaffah that stock them. I’m planning to head there this weekend but I wanted to see if anyone here has actually bought one recently and can tell me if they’re any good. I drive a 2014 Yaris so nothing too demanding, just need something reliable for daily commuting and the occasional trip to Dubai. The thing I’m most worried about is getting stuck with something that dies in six months because it’s cheap for a reason. I saw online that some places offer decent warranties on Kays batteries which might be worth it, but I’m not sure how easy it would be to claim if something goes wrong. Has anyone found an affordable Kays car battery in Musaffah that actually lasted a decent amount of time? I don’t need top of the line, just something that’ll get me through the next couple of years without drama. Any specific shops you’d recommend or ones to avoid would be really helpful.
