Energizer batteries in this heat, are they actually worth the hype?
I’ve been going back and forth about which battery to throw into my old Land Cruiser before summer really hits us here, and I keep seeing people rave about Energizer options, but I’m honestly a bit skeptical. A buddy of mine swears by them and says they handle the extreme heat way better than the standard local brands, but I’ve had mixed luck with batteries in the past and I don’t want to drop cash on something that’s just riding on a famous name. My main concern is whether they actually hold up during those brutal August afternoons when the asphalt feels like it’s melting, because my car sits outside at work all day with no shade whatsoever. I stumbled across batteryzoneuae.com/energizer while doing some late night research and it got me curious about the specific models they offer, but I’d really love to hear from actual drivers who’ve been using one for at least a year or two. Does the cranking power stay consistent or do you notice it struggling after a few months? I know Dubai weather is unforgiving on pretty much any car part, so I’m just trying to figure out if the extra dirhams for an Energizer actually translate to longer life, or if I’m better off going with something more budget-friendly and just replacing it more often. Would appreciate any honest feedback because I’m planning to do a desert trip with the family soon and the last thing I need is to get stuck out there with a dead battery and no signal.
